With our unique pricing structure and community involvement, we strive to provide affordable massage and wellness to all people, regardless of financial circumstance.
We believe that getting regular massage and Chinese medicine treatments aids to sustaining overall health and wellness; i.e. sleeping better, decreased stress, less sickness, improved allergies, decrease in injury and more.
Julie is a Certified Massage Therapist and Chinese medicine practitioner and she is absolutely passionate about the work she does with each person. Julie treats each patient as an individual and based on his/her own specific needs in that moment. She likes to say, "I don't just touch the body, but also the emotions." With a background in psychology, and an acute awareness of how trauma can manifest itself in the body, Julie works to address not just a patient's symptoms, but the root of the problem.
When not working, advancing her craft, or raising her two daughters, Julie is also an avid triathlete which drives her to work with other athletes to allow them to perform at their greatest potential. She has also been working with the Parkinson's community and patients the last couple of years after both being inspired by a Stage 4 Parkinson's client, and by seeing the improvements that her healing touch brought him.
Julie uses a combination of modalities and techniques such as myofacial release, trigger-point, cupping, moxabustion therapy, etc. that together assist in overall wellness.
With a 500 hour minimum schooling for massage therapy in most states, Julie has completed 1,250 hours, plus additional continuing education hours in modalities such as Trager therapy and Applied Kinesiology.
